What song (or album) has been your favourite(s) this year?

Well, Kenny and Dolly’s Christmas is a standard in my house, same with Alabama… But this year I made a mix of fun/Crowley family standards/and sappy Christmas without you songs to send to Rob in Victoria, so that’s what I have been listening to the most. My favorite this year? Christmas TV by Slow Club which I blogged last night. So tonight I’ll post Baby, It’s Cold Outside by Leon Redbone and Zooey Deschanel, while also noting how many times it has come up this holiday season that this song may be about Date Rape. I prefer to think she is just being coy… however, now that it has been pointed out to me… when she says “what’s in this drink?” I do shudder a little.
