Day 14 - A favorite movie
I could almost recite this movie for you word for word. I have loved it since I was 12 or 13 years old and longed to grow up and be Lelayna and fall in love with Troy Dire. Its weird to grow up and be older than these characters now and look back on it in that way…
Turns out the Troy Dire’s of the world are much better for you in the movies than they are in real life. Maybe Lelayna grows up and realizes that and we just don’t get to see it in the confines of this plot…
Ethan Hawke is still sooooo dreamy in this movie though…
Lelaina Pierce: I was really going to be somebody by the time I was 23.
Troy Dyer: Honey, all you have to be by the time you’re 23 is yourself.
